How are y'all doin'?

Normally, I wouldn’t have such a title on a thread. But, as I will be going to Duke I need to practice the local vernacular. Just dropping by to see how all my fellow pton applicants are doing. Woody Woo remains an option for me(and it really was my primary reason for applying, of course, after all the ccers debunked the pton mythis)

So, we havent talked in a long time. Its coming round to that time of year when senioritis is kicking in.I’m starting to get nostalgic about my hs(even with the horribly recalcitrant admin) I’m looking forward to prom and spending the last few weeks of hs totally SLACKING off. After a few breakneck years, it feels strangely satisfying to get that B and not really care :)

Y’all come back now ya hear

sempitern555

btw. I’m currently engaged in a roast of WAshu(kind of like a comedy central sort of thing) feel free to check it out. I dunno but I feel strangely “exiled” from this board after the “decision” and so I’ve decided to re-enter that board that is- Pton

hey semp :)

:D sempitern with a southern accent…tht should be fun…for starters…you can do without the ‘are’…like
“how y’all doin” with a bit of southern drawl and emphasis on ‘n’ :D

yes, I need to work on that! It is espescially hard for me to learn this accent because I have always had such “proper” english which was mandated by my parents who have thick armenian accents while I, speak with a bit to a NYC twang

Duke? That’s awesome, semp! And once you start talking with a Southern accent, maybe I’ll finally be able to understand what you’re saying :p

And don’t feel exiled! You or anyone else. The Pton board is still home, even if you’ll be hammin’ it up elsewhere :)

semp! u still are part of the princeton board, i promise! yah the southern accent is a tough one to nail, but i’m sure with practice u’ll get it.

gah i have the WORST senioritis too. soo bad. after APs, my attendance and school will definitely be slipping
