How are you supposed to write about yourself when you're writing about somebody else?

<p>This essay is ridiculously long, it’s at 1059 right now. I’m also not sure if it shows enough about me, and too much about the other person (that I’m writing about), so if somebody who doesn’t know me would be willing to read it, that’d be wonderful!</p>
