How bad have my chances been hurt?

<p>I know the admissions process is holistic, but I am still concerned. </p>

<p>My SAT score is: CR:760 W:710 Math:400</p>

<p>Lol, I know that is a ridiculous Math score, but I didn’t have enough time to finish every section.</p>

<p>If the rest of my application is really good ( I am a URM) how badly have my chances been hurt by my low Math score?</p>

<p>I am majoring in Humanities. I have only taken the SAT once.</p>

<p>Anything is possible, but a 400 is a really low score, even for a URM. Maybe they will look past the math score. Good luck!</p>

<p>too bad you couldn’t retake it or do the ACT instead. how did you do on the SAT subject tests, the SAT IIs? if those are all high like your other scores, i’d say you have a shot.</p>

<p>Retake. Although SAT may not be the best estimate of a person’s ability, I’d seriously wonder your academic level–college is after all, just a glorified form of higher education, and as an adcom, I’d doubt your ability to survive if your Math is that bad.</p>
