I took a one credit class. Even though the teacher told me that there was no way she could read my course evaluation, she did, and wrote me a letter about how she was “sorry” that I didn’t like her teaching methods. Then she changed the amount of absences I had, causing me to fail the course.

I appealed the grade to the administration, even showing them a screenshot of the original number of absences I had, but had to give up the appeal after struggling, to no avail, through the college bureaucracy. I think that taking legal action is excessive. So it’s here to stay.

So how much will this one-credit “U” affect my transfer chances? It has no effect on my GPA, but still shows up on my transcript.
