How bad is ony two AP courses?

I only take two AP courses even though my school offers about 8 AP courses.
I took AP Calc AB on my Junior year, and I will take AP Stat next semester. (My school doesn’t offer AP Calc BC.) I didn’t make my Senior year classes with very hard classes. I registered 1 AP, 5 honors, 3 general, and I am taking one pre college course at local state university. The reason why I didn’t make my schedule too overly hard is that I didn’t take any ACT or SAT tests yet. (I’ve live in America about 3 years from now, and I was very busy with my school and other activities that I involved in.) I figured I need some time to study ACT.
My rank is in top 10% and my GPA is 3.951/4.0. Do I have very least chance to get in? To me, NU really wants people who took lots of AP classes.
Also, I will apply to ED.

P.S. If I am from small(not the size) state like North/South Dakota or Montana, do I have more chance to get in?

Most people on CC will say you always have a “chance”…however you know you did not take the most rigerous course load given that your school offers 8 APs and you have elected to take just 2 of them. Your GPA is strong, and if your test scores for SAT/ACT and AP Calc AB, and ECs really stand out from the crowd-then-in my opinion you have an even better chance.G’Luck!

The OPs GPA is good because the class load was not rigorous…
