I am getting several emails from colleges saying I can click on a link and receive a fee waiver on my application. They mostly look like this:

However when I click on them, they just prompt me to log into the common app and then when I do it just takes me to my list of colleges. What am I supposed to do?

Are the applications free simply because you complete them online? Many colleges do waive the fee for online applications. Go to the college’s web page and look.

no, for example Fordham University costs 65 dollars to apply to, but I got an email to waive the fee with that link

If Fordham in your list of colleges on the Common App? Did you check under the payment tab after you clicked the link, to see if it says paid?

Get a form from your counselor.
