I have a obstetric associate degree gratuted from Iran .I want to apply for med school in USA.I heared about pre med requiring or some qratuted degree but really I could not understand what they need for applying !!!please help me .

Hello. You will need a Bachelor’s degree in order to apply to medical school unfortunately. The general premed requirements (although they vary school to school) are one year of general chemistry, one year of organic chemistry, one year of biology, one year of physics, and one year of English. Some require psychology, sociology, statistics, or calculus. You will need to do research based on where you want to apply. You will need to study and take the MCAT–the standardized exam for medical school applicants. Also, keep in mind that extracurriculars, especially medical related ones, are vital for admission to U.S. medical schools. This means volunteer work, clinical work, research positions, etc.
