How can I be sure my apps were correctly sent in?

I received emails regarding my supplements and applications being successfully sent in, and when I go to commonapp.org the “triangles” that indicate that the application/submissions are complete are there. But is there any other way to make sure my apps were sent in? I guess i’m just a bit paranoid and want to make sure the “triangle” really means what it’s supposed to mean.

Sure. Go to your My Colleges page and for each school, look at the status toward the bottom of the screen (not the icons). If it reads Submitted or Complete, your are good to go. If it reads In-Progress, double check the emails you received, they may not say your application was submitted.

Thanks! Most of them say “submitted” “complete” or “downloaded”? So i’m guessing i’m good to go then! :)

Correct. Downloaded means the school retrieved that portion of the application.

If you click on the “My Colleges” section and see all green triangles, everything is done.

Same with “Supplements” - all green triangles, are good.

If you need to check on the recommendations and sent teachers email links, then check the “School Forms” section. Others use Naviance and edocs, so it works differently. Same with offline letter recommendations.
