How can I earn more money as a current student?

I know the title of the thread seems unclear, but I didn’t know how to phrase what I was trying to say.

As of right now, my parents have enough money to send me to USC for roughly 2 or 2 1/2 years. Since I really want to attend, they’re willing to send me for the first 2 years under the condition that I will need to transfer or take a year off if I don’t find at least a little bit more money. I thought it was a reasonable agreement and now I’m wondering how can earn more money from the school as a returning students. I will definitely be applying for outside scholarships, but I was wondering if anyone has suggestions of any ways that I can earn money from USC, or any other outside sources?

There are plenty of jobs on campus.

I have workstudy already included in my financial aid. I was thinking something along the lines as possible merit based scholarships at SC or something? Thanks for the suggestion though.

I suggest that you consider going to a community college for a year or two (especially this summer) and work out a transfer agreement with USC (unless you get a great financial aid package). This plan would meet your parents financial situation and you would get time at USC along with a USC degree. It is too stressful and iffy to place all your bets on getting enough scholarships/more jobs on campus to pay for $100,000 or so for two years on campus.
