How can I enter berkeley?!

I’m 21 years old . I’m studying chemical engineering in Sharif university of technology in Iran and I’ve passed 97 units (6th term)till now.My average is 15.
I’m working on a project about nano technology with one of my professors.I have Green card and also I’ve came america 2 times before and I’ll be
there in march…

I want to know:

 1. since I’m an american resident what do I need for getting an application for UCLA with a satisfying fund for my master?

2.Dose Green card make any difference in this case!?since I’ve heard that a student who is an American resident has much more chance to be approved
in comparison with who doesn’t have it because the professors has more benefit with the first one because 60 percent of fund will be on government
so they should give the student only 40 percent of fund and I want to know what circumstances UCLA have in this occasion?

remember to change ‘UCLA’ to ‘Berkeley’

Thank god he can apply to both with the same app.

He’s applying for a masters, i dunno if the cal and ucla grad schools use the same app… do they?

My bad. Not everything I read sinks in.

sorry I made a mistake about UCLA  !

there’s NO way you can “enter” berkeley, UCLA, or stanford.

Rejections all the way.

well, you will have to apply as an “international student” most likely. You have to apply to the specific college that you are interested in for your graduate degree. Usually applications are available in September or November. Go onto the Berkeley website and apply that way. As for your question regarding financial assitance, you aren’t promised anything. The only thing you will be eligible for is scholarship based on merit. Now if you were applying for undergraduate, this would be a different case. You will not know how much is covered until you are accepted and your financial aid package offer letter is mailed to you, usually a couple of months after your acceptance.
