I’m 21 years old . I’m studying chemical engineering in Sharif university of technology in Iran and I’ve passed 97 units (6th term)till now.My average is 15.
I’m working on a project about nano technology with one of my professors.I have Green card and also I’ve came america 2 times before and I’ll be
there in march…

I want to know:
since I’m an american resident what do I need for getting an application for UCLA with a satisfying fund for my master?

2.Dose Green card make any difference in this case!?since I’ve heard that a student who is an American resident has much more chance to be approved
in comparison with who doesn’t have it because the professors has more benefit with the first one because 60 percent of fund will be on government
so they should give the student only 40 percent of fund and I want to know what circumstances UCLA have in this occasion?

Hey. I think u need to take TOEFL first. U’ll have a hard time getting into American college. One reason is that you ask," How can I enter Stanford?" but then you talk about UCLA.

Try Caltech. They love Sharif Univ graduates. At any grad school if you manage to work with a professor as a Teacher’s Assistant (teaching undergraduates) or a Research Assistant (doing research with the professor) then you can have a good part of your tuition paid for and you’ll be responsible for room and board only.

Well given that you are studying chemical engineering, I agree with trying Caltech. Caltech has a great chem engineering program (I believe it is better than Stanford).
