<p>I’m currently an international student studying in Vietnam. I’m about to graduate in Mathematics with 3.8 GPA, however, I’m no longer have any interest in this field and want to study something else. In order to have job security, I want to spend one more year in France to pursue a Master degree in Applied Mathematics. By the time I finish this program, I’m 23 years old. Afterwards, I want to go to the US to study something else, I’m thinking about Liberal Arts, especially History, I also want to study Psychology or Architecture. However, after looking at several undergraduate programs, I see that my chances are limited, since many schools don’t allow second bachelor program. Is it possible that I attend at a Community college in America, and then transfer to another University in US. I don’t know if my Bachelor degree in Mathematics will make me not eligible for a transfer student. If it is, can you suggest some other routes that I can take to switch to another field?

<p>You will still have the same problem if you want to transfer to a 4 year. Many will not award a second degree. If you have the money, I suppose you can always find someone somewhere to take it from you. Sometimes people switch by taking post bac classes to make them eligible for a Masters in the new or related subject. It seems very foolish to get your MS just to throw it away. Why bother? Get a job in business and study whatever interests you on your own time. You can’t do anything with an undergrad degree in psych. But you can get into a MArch program if you fill prereqs for a program intended for those who didn’t get an undergrad in arch, I believe.</p>
