How important is it to look beyond superficial appearances?

The importance of looking beyond superficial appearances is increasing as more people are entering the work force. It is very important for bosses, lawyers, and judges to know how the real person is and what they are capable of. It is even more important for teachers to see through the superficial appearances of their kids to know how to help them.

When some one goes for an interview, of course they will act nicely to try and impress their future. The boss needs to be able to see through that cover up to know how his employee will act when working. If they will be able to collaborate with his colleagues to improve his company or will he be one of those “slackers” who bother others and not get their work done?

Before a lawyer takes a case I believe it is necessary for him to know who he is defending. The job of lawyers is to defend people but he shouldn’t have to go against his morals to get it done. He should know his defendant up to the point that he knows what their defendants views are and for what reasons. He shouldn’t let the superficial appearance come in the way.

The future of our world is in the hands of our teachers. Starting at an elementary age , students are being evaluated in many different fields as in physical capability, sociability, mental stability, how they would react in random scenarios, and many more. These tests help shed the outer shell of the child and show the teachers what they need to focus on.

Put into a variety of different scenarios the necessity of looking beyond superficial appearances is always present and very important. People should know what they are dealing with, As the well-known saying goes, “Never judge a book by its cover” the same goes for humans. Never judge someone by how they look.
