Hi I’m a high school junior and I recently took the May SAT, the June SAT for Subject tests, and the ACT back in April. I’m really really ambitious and my dream colleges are Brown University, Princeton University, Yale University, Amherst College, Harvard University, and Columbia University. My grades are excellent and I have a lot of extra curriculars but the damn SAT’s/ACT’s will be the death of me. How can I raise my SAT score to a 2200+, my subject tests to 700+, and my ACT to at least 30?

Here are my scores now:

April ACT Composite=26
English=25
Mathematics=22
Reading=29
Science=26
Combined English/Writing=24

May SAT Total= 1740
Critical Reading=570
Mathematics= 540
Writing=630

June SAT Subject Tests:
U.S. History= 540
Literature=530
Math I= 540

All my scores are so low because I come from a low-income background and I’m going to be the first generation college student in my family. English is my strong suit but I don’t really take tests in my high school because we do performance based assessments (presentations) instead so I’m I am performing badly the SAT/ACT.

What are some study methods that have worked for you guys, and are there any tips you can give me? I’m really, really desperate. Thanks everyone.
