How can I increase my chances for admission?

So I applied to NYU regular decision and would be so excited if I got in. I know I’m not necessarily a top candidate, but I was wondering if there was anything I could do while I await my decision to show my interest or boost my application. Here are my stats:

ACT: composite 29, english 35, reading 34, science 27, math 21 (i know)
SAT: 1900 (670 english, 640 writing, 590 math)
SAT subject tests: bio 590, german 660, literature 700

uw gpa: 3.6
w gpa: 3.95

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! So at this point there isnt much you can do to increase your chances, but I did feel like telling you not to worry. Especially if you are planning to go into the liberal arts (CAS) or Tisch. Or really any school that isnt Stern. Believe me, they will notice that you got a 35 (congrats!) on the English portion but a 21 ( :frowning: ) on the Math portion. So that totally dragged down your composite (and the same for your SAT). Its clear that Math isnt your greatest subject, but you’re kick-ass at English and Reading!

I wish you good luck! You might not be a top candidate, but you definitely stand a good shot. :)
