How can I make my schedule work

I currently go to a college that has it’s main campus located 30 minutes away from me.

My problem is that for next semester I will have a class at the main campus, but then my next class is 15 minutes later and located back in my home town.

Now I want to take both these classes cause:

 1. This girl is in one of the classes and wants me to go with her
 2. My friends are in the 2nd class.

I’m really thinking the only possible way of doing this, is letting the professor know I would have to leave 15-20 minutes early everyday at the start of the 2nd 8 weeks. Just so I can get to my other class on time.

I seriously doubt the professor will be ok with it - missing the last 15 minutes of class on a regular basis is a serious issue. Also, I can’t help but notice that your two reasons are based on nothing academic. Maybe you should look into classes where you’re interested in the subject, instead of just taking them with your friends.

This cannot be serious.

romani–I’m with you. Not mature enough to be a college student. ■■■■■, maybe. No one with the brains and maturity to be in college would even consider scheduling classes 15 minutes apart…when it takes 30 minutes to commute (not including leaving class, getting to a car, parking, getting to next class from distant parking lot…)

so you want to take a class because a girl is in it? Just grow up and get her digits.

and if you are in college, take what interests you and what advances you toward your degree–don’t worry about what class your friends are in–that’s for high school. Gut check: are your friends willing to change their schedule to take a class you need, at a time and place that is convenient for you?
