<p>I’m new to this site, so I truly apologize if I am doing this wrong. I just wrote my college essay for the Ohio State App (common app) and decided to pick the topic “recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you and what lessons did you learn?” I would really appreciate it if I could get at least one person to critique it, and I also need help cause I’m nearly 200 words over the limit! Should I post the essay here or do it in private? Please help! </p>

<p>There is a dedicated forum for asking essay questions and asking for readers. I think you need to have 15 posts before you can PM readers, though. Go to the main forum home page and scroll down a bit to see College Essay forum.</p>
