<p>The one thing they say you can do, besides practicing, is to study vocabulary words–lots of them. Of course, it is a matter of probability whether the words you study show up on a particular exam, but this will give you a better statistical chance of scoring higher. Most of the study guides have word flash cards in them.</p>
