I scored 690 on the Oct Test and I know it’s not a TERRIBLE Score but I am a freaking asian!!! I am a senior and the december test will be my Last Last chance. Before I took the October test, I studied both kaplan and barrons workbooks so I guess they were still not enough for 800. What can I do? Go over those workbooks and take the practice tests?! I already did that heaps of times.

Please tell me how I can get 800. I am ready to do everything to get an 800. I just don’t know how. I did so many practice tests and solved workbooks and still got that score so I just don’t know what else I can do.

well i suppose you should tackle the problems that you know you get wrong and make sure you don’t do any silly mistakes… and make sure you know why you got each question wrong in the workbooks and do them again after understanding what you did wrong? you might have done this already so sorry if i’m not helping here!

I didn’t study for my MathII, but I got an 800 on it, as well as an 800 on my reasoning test Math.

really, it just comes down to the fact that I can creatively come up with ways to work through problems very quickly. I’m not sure if others rely on this, or if it can be taught at all.

In my experience, you’re best off just doing tons of practice.

I am not sure from your post whether you are talking about Math for SAT I or II, but whichever, I think the basic problem is your mindset. Don’t aim for 800, just aim for the best score you can achieve given your potential and preparation. In this way, you will not stress over leaving a few question blank and will rather concentrate on solving correctly the problems you can solve correctly…
