Another thing you can work on is your command of the English language. Most US colleges will require the TOEFL test from international students whose HS instruction is not in English, typically a score of 100+ is necessary (with a minimum of 25 in each section).

You need a good score in the SAT or ACT. Work on your English skills, as that will help you.
You may have a good story to tell, but in any case, have you considered why you want what you want? Why “Ivies”, for instance? Why not many other colleges/unis? What goals do you have? What are your steps for achieving them and what do you think are the probabilities of success for each step?
