How can I write every supplemental essay?

While organizing which colleges I want to apply to this fall, I have found that most of the schools that I want to apply to require one or more supplemental essays. I’ve never been good at writing essays with strict time constraints because I am a perfectionist, but I still want to apply to all of the schools that are currently on my list.

So, does anyone have any advice on how to write more than ten supplemental essays in a timely manner?

Thank you!

P.S. I know that this thread doesn’t match the majority of threads on “College Essays”, but I wasn’t sure where else this thread would fit.

The best advice I can give you is to look for overlap on the essays. You should be able to find similar stories or themes to complete multiple essays. More than likely you will have to tweak each of them to fit the prompt, but you shouldn’t have to start from scratch. There are web sites out there (though the names escape me at the moment) that do help you organize essays. It might be just as helpful to copy all of the prompts on a single word document and then review them for overlap or similarities.
