<p>Just like the question says how can you tell that you are officially enrolled in your classes? I register for my classes yesterday at SPOP 1 but now I’m worried because for the all my classes that are 4 units i typed in 4 in the “variable units” section. Does this make a difference?</p>

<p>Underneath “Enrolled Classes for FALL '09” should be the list of classes that you chose. You are OFFICIALLY enrolled once you pay your fees.</p>
<p>^but if I but 4 variable units for a 4 unit class it wouldn’t have screwed things up right? I mean an error message would have popped up immediately before the class would have been added right?</p>
<p>Yeah it should be fine. Btw for future use, you never have to type in a number for variable units unless there is no set number of units for the class. For instance, if you chose Chem 1A, it is 4 units automatically and you can’t change the number of units for that class. However (this only concerns upper division research courses), if the units say 1-8, that’s when you would type how many units you want on the variable units box.</p>
<p>Three ways to check your enrollment–there may be more–and they all require you to log in with your UCInetID and password. You’re wise to check your enrollment. Your enrollment becomes official if you pay your fees by the deadline (Sept 15 for Fall 2009). It’s a good idea to print a copy of your Study List whenever it changes and keep it in a file for reference. </p>

<p>Okay cool so the variable units didn’t screw up anything as long as it says 4 units next the classes at the bottom of the screen (which are the same courses I picked)?</p>

<p>I think if it’s a fixed-unit course, the program ignores anything you put in the variable credit field. If the system has you registered for the correct number of units, you should be fine.</p>
