How close did you come to your sat predictions?

Based on 9th or 10th grade, what SAT score did you aim/predict for yourself?

I set my goal to 2250 and I’m surpised that I actually exceeded my expections.
For most people it’s the other way around. Did you get a higher or lower score than what you expected? All of the 9th graders that I know think that they can get a 2300 by senior year.

its really close to teh score you get on your practice cb tests.

My goal was a 2360 (760 CR, 800 M, 800W); I got a 2340 (760 CR, 780 M, 800W).

I predicted I could get above a 2300 by senior year. I’m a junior, and on the October SAT, I got a 2210. I got around a 2350 on a bunch of practice tests, though, so I think I got a lower score on the real thing because I was nervous. I’m retaking, but, either way, I’m really satisfied with my scores.

Honestly I wasn’t even thinking about the SAT in 9th or 10th grade. I did horrible on my PSAT (158 in my sophomore year and 167 in my junior year). I got an 1850 the first time I took the SAT and that was AFTER a prep class. The second time I got a 1940, which is considered an amazing score at my school, but I knew it wasn’t good enough for the schools I was applying to.

So I prepped over the summer and got a 2100 on the October test. I was definately happy with that.
