how colleges know...

how many APs your school offers? do they check? and do they care?
because i was talking to the admissions officer at tcu on a field trip
and he said they do look, and they DO hold it against you if your school doesn’t offer many
because then you don’t have the same exposure to college-level curriculum
and we asked, and no, he doesn’t care that you’d have unfair disadvantage
because if you went to the school then you would suffer just as well anyway
because the AP student has simply learned more than you and worked harder than you
again, his words and not mine. this worries me a bit. or actually a lot.

and no, i’m not worried about admissions there  i actually got a full scholarship
BUT if a (sorry) not very competitive private Xian school cares and holds it against you,
then won’t bigger and more competitive schools like the Ivies (spelling?) as well?
