<p>The choice of what one studies is not the road to a career in acting. Both were acting before college. They probably chose Eng because that’s what interested them. Not everyone who acts and then goes to college majors in Eng. e.g. Claire Dane majored in Psych before dropping out of Yale. Both J Foster and J Beals got degrees in American Lit at Yale.</p>
