How competitive are kellogg undergrad certificates?

I heard around, half of the kids in that program are in MMSS, so I’m assumming it’s really competitive. Does not being in the certificate basically eliminate you from any real competition for prestigious IB/consulting jobs/internships?

half the kids are in MMSS because MMSS automatically fulfills the pre-reqs to apply for it

no? most people at northwestern don’t have the certificate, and many many of them get good internships

There are separate presentation for certificate students from some companies, but many students outside will nail great jobs too I am sure. I believe it will be easier to get you to an interview EVERYTHING ELSE BEING EQUAL if you’re a certificate student, but once you enter the room for the interview it doesn’t matter.

the competittive advantage that mmss students enjoyed will diminish as other students have more time to plan for this right from the beginning. more non-MMSS students will have enough pre-reqs to apply this year. so i don’t think mmss students will dominate.
