How competitive is a 2160 SAT score and will I be able to bring it up?

I took the SAT twice: I scored a 1980 the first time with a 620 in CR, a 670 in math, and a 690 in writing. The second time, I got a 2150 with a 610 in CR, a 760 in writing, and a 780 in math. Is my score good enough for ivies? I know CR is low, but my other scores are either in the upper part or above the mid-ranges for almost every school. Also, will I be able to bring it up? I really want to get a 760 on CR since that would give me a 2300 superscore. Is this possible? Should I get an SAT tutor?

On a side note, is it worth studying for math and writing more to get 800s? My MC subscore in writing was a 76/80 so I just need to work on the essay (I got a 9 this time). I only got one wrong in math.

It’s possible to get it up. The first time I took the sat I got a 780 M, 740 W and 570 CR. I wanted to bring that CR up, and after studying a bunch, the second time my CR was a 730. If I can go up 160 points, I’m sure it’s possible for you to raise your score 140-150 points. It’s just a matter of how and how long you study. As for the other subjects, I kept procrastinating studying until 2 weeks in advance, so I didn’t have time to study the other two sections, so they went down. Try to give yourself some time in advance so you have the opportunity to study for all three.
