How competitive is Penn State’s College of Liberal Arts?

I plan to major in economics, but if it’s really competitive, would it just be better for me to go undeclared? I also heard that being a girl wanting to major in economics helps increase your chances. Thanks so much.

Being a girl won’t really impact anything. Economics is relatively competitive compared to some other majors in CLA, but it’s not Engineering either.
What Math will you have taken by graduation? Foreign language? Social science (history, gov, economics)?
What’s your unweighted GPA?
If you add all Honors and AP(or IB/dual Enrollment) classes taken, what number do you get?

By graduation, I would have taken up to AB Calculus, Latin 4, hn history freshman year, AP World sophomore year, hn history and ap psych junior year, and ap gov senior year. My school doesn’t do unweighted GPA but I think it’d be about a 3.5. My weighted would be around a 3.77 I think
