<p>how confident were you guys when you applied to Cornell? Were you like 70% sure or like 50% sure?</p>
<p>I’ll say 30% confident. Academically, I’m definitely on the lower end of accepted applicant pool. I wouldn’t have applied if I didn’t think I had absolutely no chance at all, but if I get rejected, I would certainly be upset, but not particularly surprised. </p>
<p>I really think I’d be successful at Cornell, but that feeling isn’t the easiest thing in the world to convey in an application. </p>

i was 50% confident at best…but that usually depends on the individual
i’d say my stats were fairly solid and teacher recs should’ve been decent
i wasn’t too sure about my essays tho lol</p>
<p>i didn’t want to go to cornell but i knew i’d most likely get in - a TON of people get in from my school every year. now, i can’t imagine another place where i’d be able to do what i’m doing here and i love it.</p>
<p>About 80% sure. But that’s only because I was accepted to Engineering DHW and everyone I talked to that was in that said most people from that get in, unless your app essays and stuff just suck.</p>
