How "cut-throat" is a UC Berkeley degree?

<p>So instead of pursuing Med School, I wanted to get into teaching general Biology for high school students. Will a UC Berkeley degree increase my chances of getting hired by a school? I know most teachers graduate from CSUF or CSULB.</p>

<p>Your throat will be cut. You should be fine becoming a teacher from Berkeley. Most teachers actually get their teaching credentials from CSUs.</p>
