I see Lehigh is ranked first in Princeton review’s list of schools where students study the most. Is that because of the school of engineering? Is the college of arts and sciences a grind too? Not afraid of working hard but also know that other highly ranked “study hard” schools like MIT and UChicago are a total grind. Don’t want that. Thanks.
The best way to get your question answered is to talk with some arts and sciences majors. Have you done that or have a visit coming up?
My sense has always been that Lehigh is academically rigorous with many smart, high achieving, motivated students. Hopefully some current students/parents will reply.
My daughter is a first year student. Biology major, pre-med so she studies a lot but also exercises every day and involved in greek life and clubs. I think it is work hard, play hard kind of school.
