<p>I’m really suprised i got into UCLA. I mean I might look good on paper but I’m such a flake. I was admitted as a pre-poli sci major and now i hate poli sci. I want to change to sociology or english but i dont know if it’s possible. </p>
<p>Is it possible to change majors? Even so should i be worried about the unit cap and will i the transition from the classroom setting at a cc be horribly different from a lecture hall type class setting?</p>

<p>freshmen admits can change pretty much as many times as they want. you have to be under a certain amount of units, which is usually defined by the major you’re trying to switch to. sometimes you’ll have to be able to complete pre-reqs by a certain number of units. sometimes you just walk in and declare. english is definitely possible to switch to- it’s not a high unit-count major.</p>
<p>take classes in your intended majors to get a feel for it, see a counselor if need be, and you’ll be fine.</p>
