How did I get all 18 questions right in both sections but get a 35?

<p>Why is my score a 35 and not a 36??</p>

<p>You might’ve got something like an 17.6 in both sections, which would round up to an 18, but when added together, it would be rounded down to 35. Also, the subsection scores aren’t the number of problems in that section you got right/wrong, if I remember correctly.</p>

<p>I got the same thing. An 18 doesn’t necessarily mean we answered every question correctly.</p>

it can be a 35, with 18 and 18 in each section
anyway 35 is a great score in english!!!

<p>I got 17 and 18 in English and got a 34 so I guess you would have to get two 18’s to get a 35 but have one wrong somewhere.</p>

<p>Alright thanks I was about to get pretty angry at the ACT haha. </p>

<p>I’m applying to Berk, Emory, Georgetown, Nothwestern, Dartmouth, Cornell, Chicago, and William and Mary and I have already been accepted to Michigan and UT-Austin.</p>

<p>My scores have always been the weakest part of my app so I’m glad they’ve been slowly going up haha</p>
