<p>Humm…did you look INTO your application for reasons as to why you were rejected? Do you have EC’s? How long did you spend on your essays? etc.</p>

<p>As for this statement, nothing against Tulane, just surprised given its considerably higher transfer acceptance rate (80%) in comparison to the schools the OP was accepted to.</p>
<p>nope i talked with an admissions officer and she said they said that they are actually becoming a stronger school then they were before the hurricane, and that their transfer admission they admitted 128 out of like 750 which comes out to be a mere 17% which is crazy…they said the average gpa was a 3.58 gpa, and said that there schools is becoming increasingly competitive so who knows…</p>
<p>i heard something similar to that also, i think a crapload of people applied to tulane hoping to gain transfer admission thinking it would be easier after the hurricane; obviously it made it harder to get in</p>
