how did mary cheney get pregnant again?

artificial insemination? does anyone have a reliable source on this?

The old fashioned way?

with whom???

please, no funny remarks. i really am clueless on this one. (google isn’t of much help either)

does no one know??? is this like some government top-secret?

I’m sure there are many people who know. It’s really no one else’s business. Why are you so interested?

is it a crime to know where the baby came from, now? i find it incredible that all of the news articles i read on the matter do not mention one word on how she got pregnant, with the exception of derisive virgin mary references. this a new taboo?

It’s none of your business - any more than it would be any of your business to know exactly how any other woman became pregnant - in complete anatomical detail. You have an underdeveloped sense of respect for others’ privacy. It’s not a new taboo - it’s actually as old as the concept of good manners.

thank you for teaching me good manners, kluge. i ask a simple question out of curiosity, you make it a flamed war about women’s rights. how righteous of you!

i agree with the physcotic

I agree. It’s their private business. I’m assuming if you can’t find news articles about it, they decided to keep that information private.

thank you, corranged, for your constructive answer, unlike the others poster who throws pejorative "mind your own business"s at me.

I agree, but I would have said it something like, “Possibly she wishes to keep that information private.”

I may be wrong, but I don’t think Mary Cheney has placed herself sufficiently in the public eye (such as movie stars, people running for office) such that it would be appropriate to speculate on how she became pregnant. I suspect if she wants others to know, she will tell someone.

As the daughter of the vice president, she is automatically in the public eye, whether she wants to be there or not.

That said, the paternity, or method of insemination, is private information, unless Mary herself, decides to share that information. I suspect there will be info forthcoming, even if it is inaccurate.

Perhaps she will include that information in her next book, but I don’t have any burning desire to know it any more than I don’t need to know which position a couple prefers.
Just as long as couples using IVF and giving birth to multiples don’t require govt assistance to support their families, I am not really interested in where each child was concieved, than I am in how they will be supported and cared for after birth.

immaculate conception

Ah…Mary and all…

Do we know if DNA testing has been done to rule out anyone? :)

No need. It wouldn’t exonerate them anyway! ;)

Besides, how do we know whether it is God’s DNA or Devil’s Spawn? ;)

Actually, no, not the Immaculate Conception:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immaculate_Conception.

Although this is a common misconception. LOL.
