How did our UF hopefuls do at FSU?

This is from the FSU admissions reddit:

"6,000 students is how many we plan to enroll, not how many we admitted.

"We need to admit more than that, since we know not all admitted students will decide to attend.

"We offered admission to about 17,800 students last week.

“And while we have received over 60k applications so far, only about 42,500 of those received decisions last week. The rest missed our Nov 1 deadline for Jan 30 decision.”

They are saying that 17,500 kids sent their application in after the initial deadline, but they are including them in the 60,000. Who knows if any of the 17,500 have a shot or if they collectively just donated half a million to FSU.
