@mom2boys1999 i agree kids who might not have parents who have gone through this before might be at a disadvantage like everything else in life. However if what you are saying is true about waiting for 1st half grades tells me they understand the process to some extent. Shame on the guidance counselors at the schools if they didn’t emphasize the dates. I’m sure the counselors did and the kids or parents did not attend those sessions. I know at my child’s school they told the kids if you are putting on your Halloween costume and have not applied to all your schools that’s a problem. The process is very complicated and I truly believe kids that do not have parental guidance or even a paid service to assist with the apps are at a disadvantage. There are so many things you can miss or forget to put down that are important on the apps… good luck to all. Would be great if everyone could get in. ?
