How did you make your list of schools?

My D’s wishlist was:

East Coast (but she made one exception to apply to UNCSA)

In or near a city

Conservatory-style program (i.e. intense rigorous acting training as many hours a week as possible, and minimal academics)

Strong Shakespeare training (with a semester in London if possible)

Strong movement training (that was always her weak spot, and all her acting teachers told her to seek out movement training in a BFA program)

I could’ve written this post almost word for word lol…except that my D, at the time she started her apps, wasn’t 100% sure if she wanted acting, so she applied to both MT and Acting programs. She also didn’t target the east coast specifically, but since she wants to be in an urban environment, it worked out that most of her schools happened to be on the east coast.
