<p>With the dust settling in and students submitting their commitment letters to universities across the planet I thought it would be interesting to see how other schools did in this years college admissions process. The only real fair way to do this is to kind of provide a brief history of past years, the type of school (public/private, big/small[class sizes below 400], location), and how people did this year. I’ll start:</p>
<p>History: last year our Val went to Bowdoin, we had one CMU, one UCLA, and a few Northeasterns. We usually get 1 or 2 ivies (with the exception of 2009 where we had 3 ivies and one Cambridge).</p>
<p>School: Public, Small, New Hampshire</p>
<p>This year: Sal: UVA, we had UNC, 3x UCLA, Cornell (ME!), Vassar, and quite a few Northeasterns (the reason I include NU is to compare the difference between last year and this year).</p>
