How difficult is cognitive science?

I noticed the GPA for cognitive science is the same as tough majors like the following:

GPA: 3.10-3.20
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Interdisciplinary Studies, Engineering, Cognitive Science

Is congnitive science as difficult as electrical engineering and mechanical engineering?

Where did you find that the cognitive science GPA was 3.10-3.20?

I got it from a previous post:

if you go on a website like courserank or the campusbuddy you can see the avg gpa by deparment. The berkeley math deparment has an average gpa of around 2.8. Math and statistics courses have very low gpas.
edit: i found this on the cal forums awhile ago

No, probably not even close.

I think it’s an underrated major coming from MechE.

I think that, the reason why the average GPA for CogSci is so low compared to that of other majors is because people tend to double it up with something else (typically a Computer Science major or minor). Also, keep in mind that, if you’re doing CogSci, there are a few technical courses that you would have to take (i.e. Math 1A/1B, Math 55 or CS70, and CS61A or E7). But don’t worry, there are a bunch of social science classes to balance them out.
