How difficult is it to get a full ride to UCSD?

<p>For someone who is Asian and has an annual income of <70,000, how difficult would it be to get a full ride to UCSD? What test scores and GPA would I need?</p>

<p>You would need really high scores. I am a first generation Asian American with a family income of around 40,000 and I had an SAT of ~1900 and a 4.2 GPA. I still have to borrow around 4,000 a year.</p>

<p>There are two normal ways to get a true full ride:

  1. Jacobs Scholar
  2. Regents Scholar with family income < $30,000</p>

<p>A fake full ride is the one that costs $8,500 even if your EFC is 0.</p>
