I have to take CS125 in order to start my Computer Science minor, but since I am not a computer science student, the course is restricted right now until the first day of class. Do I have a good chance of getting into the class assuming I sign up right when it opens?
It’s not easy but it’s doable. When I was there, they released spots to the class 20-30 at a time and there was a system in place to where CS majors got preference. I was not a CS major yet I was able to get in my first try but I literally checked several times a day to make that happen.
Email the instructor, who will definitively know what you’re able to do to get in.
