In my diagnostic test (Barron’s) I scored a low 550 in SAT Maths Level 2. I did not read any tips/ strategies or review any maths before attempting.
I’m in a dilemma, whether to take SAT Maths 2 in December or in Jan. I’m a senior. Is it possible to increase SAT Maths 2 by 200 in a month? Should I take the Dec test?

Anyone?

lol, well, I haven’t taken MATH II yet, but from what I’ve read, Barron’s is waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyy harder than the real thing. And from most forum posts that I’ve read, a ~650 on Barron’s = 800 on the real thing. And that the diagnostic test is crazy.

Then again, I haven’t taken it yet.

I’m a senior too, and depending on what courses you took in highschool, the MATH II shouldn’t be that bad.
One month to cram isn’t bad either. I have 4 more days to cram; just started three days ago.

to answer your question, 200 points should be a easy increase because 1) you are using barron’s 2) you’re a senior 3) a month should be enough if you have a good foundation.
