Hi,
I’m a current freshman at Oberlin College. I expect to finish the first semester with 2 A-'s and 2 B+'s. Next semester I am taking 5 full classes and hope to bring my grades up. I want to transfer out, but I am wary of my chances. I know the colleges I am looking at require a “college transcript” (i.e. GPA calculated from first semester grades) and Midterm Grades. If my Midterm Grades are much higher than my transcript GPA will that help at all? I hope to end the year with a higher GPA overall, but I am worried that the materials they ask for won’t show that.

bump

Your current grades aren’t bad at all. Keep up a strong Spring 2015 semester and depending on where you want to transfer to you should be fine.
