How do deal with the pain of a pinched nerve in the neck?

*I’m not sure where to post this

I was just wondering how can I deal with the pain and discomfort of a pinched nerve in the neck at work. I’m on several medications, but what I’ve noticed is that if I type or write, my wrist starts to ache and then the aching radiates through my arm to my shoulder and neck. The aches soon turn into pain. Fortunately, I have all online classes this semester so I can do things with the convenience of a heating pad. My job is an office assistant and all the basic duties of it seem to aggravate my nerve. I’m not sure what to do? I’m literally sitting in pain at work?

Also are there any hobbies/activities I would be able to do? I usually workout, volunteer, and get involved with any acting opportunities, but I highly doubt I’ll be able to handle any of that. I can’t run because of the pain and exercising is just out of the question. I also can’t stand or sit for long nor can I be active for long. Are there any alternatives? At least until the pain subsides?

Thanks in advance.

You might get some relief through so chiropractic treatments and/or physical therapy.
