How do I apply for one of UIUC’s Theoretical and Applied Mechanics summer courses, specifically TAM 251 (Introductory Solid Mechanics)?

I am a mechanical engineering student at University of Iowa, and I have already taken engineering courses that would’ve been counted as prerequisites if they were transferred to UIUC.

Uni of Iowa’s equivalent course is Mechanics of Deformable Bodies, and I want to avoid it during the fall/spring semester since I’ve heard that the professor for the fall/spring doesn’t know how to do the example problems or homework assignments that he gives to the students, according to numerous seniors, juniors and sophomores. All of them told me to avoid the professor at any cost.

One of the reasons I plan on taking summer courses at UIUC (and possibly Parkland College as well) instead of at Uni of Iowa is because my home is about 30 minutes away from UIUC, compared to 3.5 hours away from Uni of Iowa.
