How do I apply to college?

It’s kind of a last minute decision, but I’m going to apply to the Resident Honors Program at USC, and I have no idea how to do so.

Should I print out the application? I’m not exactly applying for undergrad, so I don’t think I should use the common app. But the application is really really colorful… so that’s a lot of ink. =/

Are my teachers supposed to use the recommendation form? Or write an original letter? I’m at a different school than I was last year, so should I just email them the .pdf application?

How do I track down a retired teacher? Call the guidance dept.?

Since I’m at a new school, should I have my old school send the transcript? It should have my class rank (6/~300, is that a bonus to me?) whereas my new one does not.

I should take the SAT/ACT by Dec. 2007. Does that include the Dec. 2007 test dates?

Thanks for any help!

Go to a local library and print it out if ink is a problem… find a place with a laser printer. :P

I think they can use either.

Yes, the guidance dept would be a good way to start.

Yes, have your old school send the transcripts. Your class rank is very good.

Yes, it does.

Good luck!

Thanks!

Anyone have anything else to add? Anything I should be careful about?
