<p>How do I boost a 68 cr -> 80 and a 70 w -> 80 in one and a half years. Im just taking practice tests, reading, and memorizing vocab daily is that good enough?</p>

<p>It looks like you’re trying to improve your PSAT? Right? Don’t work yourself up trying to get a perfect 240. There’s no benefit for that. As long as you get at least a 226, you’ll make NMSF in any state. You probably only need a 223 for any state, but a 226 is pretty much a guarantee…</p>
<p>My son worked with a student who had scored a 2380. She would have him do one of the CR practice sections (read the passage, answer the questions) then check his answers. For the ones he missed, she had him write out WHY that answer was wrong. Did this over and over. It sounds weird, but it was effective. I guess it forced him to think about the questions and what to look for. Boosted his score from a 54 to a 69.</p>
