How do i calculate my GPA!!

Hi guys,

I am an international student in Australia and i have just finished high school. In the Australian education system, students after completing yr 12 are awarded OP (Overall positions/rank) that range from as low as 25 to the highest being 1. These OPs are calculated taking numerous measures and variables into consideration, and are done by the education board. The calculation takes into account the competition in the various subjects, the st. deviation, the degree of hardness of the subject, and many more. That’s why the rank given cannot be simply treated as a percentage. I recieved an OP 5, which is equal to 92.0. How would i calculate this into a GPA. If not, can one please provide an approximate means of calculating it. Also, how would you fair my chances at being accepted into good US Med. schools ( I have other very good achievements and many leadership awards and medals). Thank you very much.

You cannot go directly to medical school from high school in the US. You need an undergraduate degree first. It would seem you could get into a good US college/university for undergrad, though.
