How Do I Calculate My Weighted GPA?

Credits worth in parenthesis. All averages are out of 100.

Just say I have these grades at the end semester.

English (1): 96
Math (1): 95
Earth Science (1): 94
French (1): 97
Religion (.75): 98
Global Honors (1.03): 93
Health (.5): 97
Phys Ed (.5): 97

How would I calculate my weighted GPA?

Er. . .don’t you have a guidance counselor? Every school weights differently. Some don’t weight at all.

s/he’s talking about the general one… like what colleges take… it’s called college confidential for a reason haha… anyways, i cant help you D:

There’s no general one, different colleges do it differently. A lot don’t use weighted GPAs. UCs have their own system.

I think esmee means weighted based on credits worth, not honors/ap. You would multiply credit amount by percent grade for each class, then divide the sum of that by the total amount of credits.

Ex:
(961+951+941+971+98.75+931.03+97.5+97.5)/(1+1+1+1+.75+1.03+.5+.5)=95.618
Or 95.379 if you don’t count Health and PE.

Of course, I don’t know if that’s how your school’s weighting system works, you should ask your GC.
